Little Dreamer Boy

Sleep came upon the little boy,

As he gripped his favorite rocket toy.

In his dreams, his father said,

“Let’s adventure beyond this bed.

Hold on to that rocketship,

Hold it with a steady grip.

And let’s go up to touch the stars,

And see the planets such as Mars.

There above the Earth we’ll be,

Above the people, land, and seas.

On the adventure we will go,

High above the things below.

Up to see the Milky Way.

Three, two, one….

And away!”

As morning woke the little boy,

He gripped his favorite rocket toy🚀.

“Someday I’ll see the world up high,

The creation beyond the bright blue sky.

And oh! The adventure we will go,

High above the things below.”
